Terms of Service

These Terms govern your use of commongroundcamp.com, your purchase of a ticket, and your attendance at Common Ground Camp. By accessing the site, creating an account, purchasing a ticket, or entering camp grounds, you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy, Camp Policies, and Refund Policy. If you do not agree, do not use our services.

Eligibility

You must be 18 or older. You confirm the information you provide is accurate and that you have authority to enter this agreement.

Account

You are responsible for your credentials and all activity on your account. We may suspend or terminate any account at our sole discretion, at any time, for any reason, without refund.

Tickets and payment

• Registration is confirmed only when payment clears
• Prices are in USD and subject to change before purchase
• All sales are subject to our Refund Policy
• Tickets are personal and may be transferred only as permitted by the Refund Policy
• We may reject or cancel any registration at our discretion

Intellectual property

All site content, brand assets, logos, photography, video, written material, designs, code, and other materials (collectively, "Content") are owned by Common Ground Camp and/or Klarbild and protected by intellectual property laws. Klarbild co-owns certain CGC intellectual property and has full rights to use, license, and commercialize that Content independently of CGC.

You may not reproduce, distribute, modify, create derivative works of, publicly display, or commercially exploit any Content without our prior written permission.

User submissions

Any content you submit through the site, social media tags, in-app messaging, or while at camp (photos, comments, video, audio, written material, ideas, feedback) is licensed to CGC and Klarbild on a perpetual, worldwide, royalty-free, irrevocable, transferable, sublicensable basis to use, reproduce, modify, distribute, display, and commercialize for any purpose, including AI training, with or without attribution. You waive any moral rights to such content.

You represent that you have all rights necessary to grant this license and that your submissions do not infringe any third party's rights.

Media at camp

See the photography section of our Privacy Policy. By attending, you grant CGC and Klarbild full rights to your name, likeness, image, and voice.

Conduct

You agree to follow our Camp Policies. We may remove you from camp or terminate your account at our sole discretion, without refund, for any conduct we deem unacceptable.

Assumption of risk and waiver

Camp activities involve inherent risks including physical injury, illness, property loss, and emotional distress. You attend at your own risk. You will be required to sign a separate liability waiver as a condition of attendance. Nothing in these Terms limits the scope of that waiver.

Disclaimers

The site and the camp are provided "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, and uninterrupted or error-free operation. We disclaim all such warranties to the maximum extent permitted by law.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, CGC, Klarbild, and our respective officers, employees, contractors, and affiliates will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for any loss of profits, revenue, data, or goodwill, regardless of the cause of action. Our total aggregate liability to you for all claims will not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim arose, or $100, whichever is less.

Indemnification

You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless CGC, Klarbild, and our respective officers, employees, contractors, and affiliates from any claims, damages, losses, costs, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising from your use of our services, your conduct at camp, your submissions, or your breach of these Terms.

Governing law and venue

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Ohio, without regard to conflict of laws principles. Any dispute must be brought exclusively in the state or federal courts located in Franklin County, Ohio, and you consent to personal jurisdiction there.

Arbitration and class action waiver

At our election, any dispute may be resolved by binding individual arbitration administered by a recognized arbitration body under its commercial rules. You waive any right to a jury trial and any right to participate in a class action, class arbitration, or representative proceeding against CGC or Klarbild.

Changes

We may modify these Terms at any time. Material changes will be posted on this page. Continued use of our services after changes constitutes acceptance.

Severability

If any provision is found unenforceable, the remainder of these Terms remain in effect.

Entire agreement

These Terms, together with the Privacy Policy, Camp Policies, Refund Policy, and any waiver you sign, constitute the entire agreement between you and CGC.
